What is the Path to Home Program?
We provide shelter to families with children experiencing homelessness by partnering with area churches.
During the day, our families go to work, school, or to the New Pathways' Day Center where they work on their plan to get back into a home of their own.
Case management and family education are two of the most important aspects of our program. Families have a dedicated Case Manager who meets with them regularly to review their progress toward finding a home, along with helping them work through any challenges associated with that process. The Case Manager is available full time to assist with housing-related crises that might arise.
During the evenings and nights, the churches and their volunteers provide private sleeping accommodations and meals in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Coming Late Summer 2026!
By the end of the summer, New Pathways will transition from our church-based shelter model into our new 24/7 family shelter. This exciting milestone will allow families to remain in one safe, stable location while receiving around-the-clock support and access to all of our services under one roof. The new shelter will provide greater privacy, consistency, and opportunities for families to focus on building a brighter future.
As we prepare for this transition, we remain deeply grateful to our church partners and hundreds of volunteers whose compassion and dedication have made the Path to Home Program possible for more than two decades.
